Awarness of That

This is a short 'thought' that we wrote about words that we drew at random, my words were "Awarness of That." Here it goes:

It is very important to be aware of the simple things in your life. Never take anything for grantid. Always listent to your heart, aware of what it desires in your life. Be grateful for what you have been given and the chance that you have been blessed with. Always be aware of your surroundings, oppurtunities, and other peoples feelings.

Flash Narrative- State Champs

There we were, sitting in our circle as a team for the last time all year. It had been nine long months that we spent practicing together. The moment we had dreamed of all year was finally here. I could see the excitement and nerves as I you looked around into my teamates eyes. Every single one of us a a common goal: Winning State. The ancouncer of the competition said "Our 4.A. state champions of 2012 are the Mandonelles." Hearing those words felt even better than I would have ever thought. The crowd errupted and the circle was no longer a circle. Our whole team was in tears of joy, and could not wipe the smiles of our faces. As a team, we had accomplished our goal, this made every hard practice at the crack of dawn, and all the injuries completely worth it. Winning a state championship is something I will never forget.
